On 1 May, the team at Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH invites you to a presentation of the younger stallions – an ideal opportunity to get an idea of the sporting development of these young sires ahead of the upcoming mating decisions. The event kicks off at 11.00 am on Herbert-Blöcker-Platz.
First, the four- to seven-year-old stallions will be presented on (short) courses appropriate to their age and training level: Expected to appear are Cascolero by Casall, Crinch by Clarimo, United Pleasure by United Way, Kantato by Keaton, Union City by United Way, Deichkind by Don and Vigado by Vigo d’Arsouilles. Afterwards, the three-year-olds Cognac by Comme il faut, Bonduel by Bonds and champion stallion Conchezz by Colestus will be presented under saddle in the basic gaits. Most Wanted Nero by Bellin out of Morricone I, available this year through the Holsteiner Verband’s stallion programme, will also be making an appearance. As usual, a selection of foals will round off the programme. The event will be hosted by Henner Hoeschen, with Lars Meyer zu Bexten providing his assessment from a sporting perspective. Admission to the presentation is free!
And there’s something to be won again: three free jumps will be raffled off amongst the tickets, which can be purchased on site for one euro. 100 per cent of the proceeds will go to the Holsteiner Young Breeders’ Association. Anyone unable to attend in person can follow the stallions via ClipMyHorse. In the afternoon, the Horster Riding Competition will also host the Youngster Tour for seven- and eight-year-old show jumpers – it’s well worth a visit.
