From Wednesday 9 July 2025, the Springflut Festival will once again take place at the Johannsen family’s home in Hörup. Not only does this provide a fitting setting for a top-class Holsteiner foal auction, but it also features sporting highlights right up to the advanced class. Several Holsteiner Association stallions will also be competing here, ridden by Arne van Heel and Lucas Wenz.
In the competition for five-year-old horses featuring the Future Championship, Deichkind by Don VHP-Limbus (Rasmus Lüneburg, Hetlingen), line 8763, and Arne van Heel will be in action. Likewise, Union City by United Way-Connor (Alf Bartholomäus, Klein Offenseth), line 18A2, and Lucas Wenz.
For the Youngster Tour, Million’s Way by Million Dollar-Concerto II (Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH, Elmshorn), line 1916, ridden by Arne van Heel, and Vigado by Vigo d’Arsouilles-Quo Vados I (Witt Pferdezucht GbR, Wellinghusen), line 776, ridden by Lucas Wenz.
Lucas Wenz will also be riding Corfu de la Vie by Cumano-Lord (Haras de la Vie/BEL), line 741, in the intermediate class.
Keaton HV by Kannan-Contendro I (Rudolf Schmitt, Wöhrden), line 4847, ridden by Arne van Heel, and United Way by Uriko-Concerto II (Holsteiner Verband, Elmshorn), line 1916, ridden by Lucas Wenz, will compete in the Grand Tour.
