Reminder: Come and see the young Holsteiner stallions live on 1 May

On 1 May from 11.00 am, Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH will once again be hosting its traditional presentation of young sires. Managing Director Felix Flinzer, together with Hendrik Hansen, will be showcasing the association’s new generation of stallions. The three-year-olds will be appearing in public under saddle for the first time, giving a first impression of their rideability and their potential for sport and breeding. Amongst other things, this will include a reunion with the reigning Holsteiner Champion Stallion, Dark Zuccero by Zuccero-Caretino.

The four- to six-year-old stallions will also be presented to the public. In keeping with their age, they will be shown on the course, demonstrating their sporting development. Spectators can look forward, for example, to the 2024 Champion Stallion, Conchezz by Colestus-Caretino, Cognac by Comme il faut–Monte Bellini, Kantato by Keaton–Casall, Karlo de Kalvarie by Kassander van’t Roosakker–Sea Coast Don’t Touch Tiji Hero, or Union City by United Way–Connor, who recently enjoyed success in the Horses & Dreams Youngster Tour.

There will also be a special focus on the next generation, as the first foals of the 2026 crop will be presented, offering a promising outlook for the future of Holsteiner breeding. The popular prize draw for free jumping sessions, in aid of the Holsteiner Young Breeders’ Association, is also back on the programme. Admission is free.

Those unable to attend in person can watch the presentation live at www.ClipMyHorse.tv.
