This coming weekend, the prestigious Nations Cup Final – the Longines League of Nations – will take place as part of the CSIO in Spain. Ten teams will compete at the Real Club de Polo in Barcelona, and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and Zuccero HV by Zirocco Blue-Caretino (Hanno Köhncke, Badendorf), line 4539, will be riding for the Swedish team. The Holstein Association stallion will make his debut on 3 October, and the following day, at 9.00 pm, Zuccero HV is scheduled to compete in the Barcelona Grand Prix.
The decisive show jumping round for the Nations Cup will then take place on Sunday 6 October from 2.00 pm, consisting of two rounds. In the second round, the top eight teams will compete, but only in teams of three. This means there will be no longer be a discard. The prize fund totals 1.6 million euros. The teams taking part are from: Ireland, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, France, the USA, the Netherlands and Spain.
