This week, six young association-registered stallions travelled to Münster-Handorf to sit their short aptitude test or Sport Test Part I or II. 

The three-year-olds Deichkind by Don VHP Z, Union City by United Way and Vidalgo by Von Holstein completed their short aptitude test. Deichkind achieved a weighted final mark of 8.15 with a focus on jumping – with his canter in particular being highlighted as well-balanced with a score of 8.40. Union City finished with an overall mark of 8.11. He scored particularly well in willingness to perform, canter and rideability, with marks ranging from 8.20 to 8.50. Vidalgo was awarded an overall mark of 8.18 by the judges: With a rideability score of 9.0, the grey achieved the day’s best result in this category. In their comments, the judges also highlighted the natural and composed free jumping of the three-year-old association stallions. 

The four-year-old Zuccarello by Zuccero completed his sport test with a weighted, jumping-focused final mark of 8.26. He received a mark of 8.40 twice for his ability and manner. Among the five-year-olds, Daikon by Dominator Z and Vigado by Vigo d’Arsouilles successfully completed the test. Daikon achieved an overall mark of 8.10, with his ability rated at 8.50 and his canter at 8.20. Vigado achieved individual marks of 8.2 and above, scoring highly for his rideability (8.6), ability (8.4) and manner (8.4), among other things, resulting in an overall mark of 8.43. 

“I am very pleased with the performance shown by the six stallions,” says Managing Director Sebastian Rohde. “They have all made tremendous progress over the past few months and finished with overall marks above 8. Now the three-year-olds can also begin their breeding programme.”
