Since the beginning of this month, 24-year-old Lucas Wenz has reinforced the Elmshorn team of riders.
He is a holder of the Golden Riding Badge, can point to international successes at 1.50 metre level, and this year finished second in the U25 Grand Prix of Mannheim, among other achievements. "I have been welcomed very warmly here, have already gained many positive impressions, and am now looking forward to working with interesting stallions," he says.
Lucas Wenz grew up in Hesse. He took part in German Youth Championships, completed professional stations in the USA and in the stable of Andreas Kreutzer in Damme before moving with his family to near Ludwigsburg/Stuttgart in Baden-Württemberg. There, the Wenz family runs a sport, training and sales stable on the grandparents' farm.
