Hengsthaltungs GmbH, part of the Holsteiner Verband, would like to present its young stallions to you in a test-like setting, following the cancellation of the stallion performance tests.
The stallions will be presented to you under saddle by the training rider and subsequently by an external rider, just as they would be in a performance test for stallions. The riders have provided their comments on each stallion following the video recording, in order to give you important information on the stage of training, rideability and the basic gaits.
Today we would like to introduce you to the 2020 Champion Stallion:
Vigado

Vigado, the winning stallion of the 2020 licensing, impressed not only during the licensing days in Neumünster. Even during the pre-selection in September 2020, this son of Vigo d’Arsouilles was the experts’ clear favourite. Vigado is a stallion with a very special charisma. His conformation is distinguished by his pedigree, clearly embodying tenacity and a willingness to perform. This distinctive conformation, the quality of his movement and his impressive free jumping – both individually and taken as a whole – were the factors that made him the clear winner of his year group.
His superbly built body and a gait that was very well balanced right from the start provide the rider with outstanding riding comfort. His temperament and character are of the very highest order. In free jumping, he is distinguished by the exceptional suppleness of his body, combined with excellent balance and bascule, alongside great ability.
