Portraits of young stallions: Dilaro

Hengsthaltungs GmbH, part of the Holsteiner Verband, would like to present its young stallions to you in a test-like setting, following the cancellation of the stallion performance tests.

The stallions will be presented to you under saddle by the training rider and subsequently by an outside rider, just as they would be in a performance test for stallions. The riders have provided their comments on each stallion following the video recording, in order to give you important information on the stage of training, rideability and the basic gaits.

Today we would like to introduce you to this typical son of Dinken:

Dilaro

by Dinken-Casall

With a distinct stallion’s presence, a very good topline, correct conformation and impressive movement, he impressed both during the pre-selection and at the licensing days in Neumünster. His particular strength, however, lies in his jumping ability. Care, good manners and ability are the hallmarks of this Dinken son.
Of great importance to breeding is the combination of the highly successful and reliable Wisma line with the equally successful Dinken line, both in sport and breeding, as well as the unique combination of the top international sires Diarado, Cassini, Caretino, Corrado and Caletto II. The targeted inbreeding to Caletto II and the inclusion of Thoroughbred blood via Esteban xx make Dilaro’s world-class pedigree particularly interesting.

Training rider: Markus von Holdt
Guest rider: Kimberly Kühl
