Hengsthaltungs GmbH, part of the Holsteiner Verband, would like to present its young stallions to you in a test-like setting, following the cancellation of the stallion performance tests.
The stallions will be presented to you under saddle by the training rider and subsequently by an outside rider, just as they would be in a performance test for stallions. The riders have provided their comments on each stallion following the video recording, in order to give you important information on the stage of training, rideability and the basic gaits.
Today we would like to introduce the son of Dominator:
Daikon
by Dominator Z – Cassini I
His power, drive, style, carefulness and the action of his hindquarters over the jump are exceptional. The dark bay has an appealing conformation and exudes a very positive aura. A strong and compact topline characterises this three-year-old. His conformation is correct in all areas, with the hindquarters displaying good angulation. His basic gaits are ground-covering and well-controlled. His canter is striking – his reach, suspension and balance are particularly impressive.
Daikon’s dam line traces back to the Dithmarscher line 18A2. Among others, the Derby winner Calle Cool, the exceptional show jumper Pikeur Dylon and Catwalk – currently ranked at the top of the WBFSH rankings – are all offspring of this highly significant mare line. The stallions represented in Daikon’s family – Cassini I, Landjunge, Ahorn, Caletto I and Warnfried – are all Holstein show jumping sires of exceptional quality and a guarantee of the genetic quality of this branch of line 18A2.
