Holsteiner Association stallions in Hesse with a ‘surprise guest’

Chezarro by Casall, Crack HV by Cornet Obolensky, and Deichkind by Don were presented at Gestüt Prinzenberg in Pfungstadt in front of a large crowd of interested onlookers, with Lucas Wenz and Richard Vogel in the saddle.

A million-dollar daughter also represented her famous sire; in an interview with Managing Director Sebastian Rohde, Sophie Hinners recalled her time with the Association stallion and spoke about his offspring, whom she is currently training. And then there was a ‘surprise guest’: The reigning German Champion of five-year-old show jumpers, Birkhof’s Arezzo Man by Arezzo, will be available to Holsteiner breeders during the coming breeding season via the Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH using fresh semen.

A great development, as Richard Vogel sees it: “It’s wonderful for Holsteiner breeders from the south that the association’s stallions are showing themselves here, and we’re always delighted to have this lovely get-together,” says the Olympic rider.

Matthias Wittke, Chairman of the European Licensing District and co-organiser, is very passionate about this event, which is why he expressed his particular thanks to the sponsors. First and foremost, the Dieter-Hofmann Foundation, with its Chairman Daniel Kircher, for making the facilities available. Furthermore, Finanzierungsstall.de, the R+V General Agency run by Boris Wölfel, the Rheinfelderhof estate (the Senckenberg family) and the Arscholl car dealership supported the presentation.
