On 23 April 2026, it’s that time of year again: the nationwide Girls’ Day and Boys’ Day initiative offers school pupils the chance to experience career diversity, free from gender stereotypes. Across Germany, companies and organisations are opening their doors to inspire the skilled workers of tomorrow to pursue a career. The Holsteiner Verband will also be offering an open day again this year for up to twelve girls and boys.
On the day, from 10 am to around 3 pm, the pupils will gain age-appropriate insights into the workings of the association in Elmshorn. This includes interesting interviews about the role of a horse manager and other positions relevant to the association, guided tours of the historic stables, and the chance to work on small projects.
