On 3 April 2025, it’s that time of year again: the nationwide Girls’ Day and Boys’ Day initiative offers school pupils the chance to experience career diversity, free from gender stereotypes. Across Germany, companies and organisations are opening their doors to inspire the skilled workers of tomorrow to pursue a career. The Holsteiner Verband will once again be offering an open day this year for up to twelve girls and boys.

We have already received a number of unsolicited applications, but there are still places available. On the day, from 10 am to around 3 pm, the school pupils will gain age-appropriate insights into the inner workings of the association in Elmshorn. This will include interesting interviews about the role of a horse manager and other positions relevant to the association, guided tours of the historic stables, and the chance to work on small projects.
