The five-year-old association stallion Fidano and his new rider Lukas Fischer have made an impressive showing this season with several victories in Class A and L dressage competitions, prompting Managing Director Sebastian Rohde and Lukas Fischer to jointly decide to enter him in the National Championships in Warendorf.
After the stallion by Fidertanz-Silvano (ZG Pflügler & Ahrens, Weddingstedt), line 776, had already recorded two victories in Class A dressage horse trials just a few weeks into the season under Lukas Fischer’s training, he went on to win a Class L dressage horse trial – a qualifier for the National Championships – in Ruhlsdorf with a score of 8.8. Last weekend and this weekend, the black-bay confirmed his form in Elmlohe and Holdorf, where he secured two further victories and a silver medal.
At the National Championships for five-year-old dressage horses in Warendorf, Fidano will make his debut on Wednesday 31 August at 8.30 am in the final qualifier.
Catch and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson are taking part in the tour for older show jumpers aged eight and over. These classes were introduced at the National Championships to make the event an even more forward-looking showcase for German horse breeding and the national training system.
The grey by Colman-Calido I (Hans-Peter Löding-Hasenkamp, Quarnstedt), line 890, achieved top placings in 2022 at Hörup, Breitenburg and Herning (DEN) in show jumping up to 1.50 metres and will make his debut on Thursday, 1 September, in an S* show jumping class from 2.30 pm on the Burandtwiese.
