This week, Lucas Wenz and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson are competing with several association-registered stallions at the Springflut Festival in Hörup. To kick things off, Lucas Wenz secured placings for Vigado and Chezarro in their first classes:
The reigning State Vice-Champion, Vigado by Vigo d’Arsouilles-Quo Vados I (Witt Pferdezucht GbR, Wellinghusen), line 776, put in an outstanding performance in the qualifier for the Future Championship for six-year-old show jumpers. With a score of 8.7, the pair finished second in the second division.
Chezarro by Casall-Conteur (Gabriele Kowalski, Stadum), line 1298, also secured a placing: he finished fourth in the Youngster M* show jumping class. In the M** show jumping, Del’Arko d’Henvet by Tsunami de Hus-Quartz de Frely (V. Debaque and H. Carouge) also finished tenth.
On Friday 12 July, United Way by Uriko-Concerto II (Holsteiner Verband, Elmshorn), line 1916, is scheduled to compete in an S* show jumping class, in which Del’Arko d’Henvet will also be taking part. Vigado will compete in an M** show jumping competition with a jump-off.
On Saturday 13 July, Chezarro and Corfu de la Vie by Cumano-Lord (Haras de la Vie/BEL), line 741, will continue in the Youngster M** class, whilst United Way is scheduled to compete in an S** class with a jump-off. There are also some highly interesting classes lined up for the association’s stallions on Sunday: a two-phase show jumping class at S* level for Del’Arko d’Henvet and a Youngster S* class for Corfu de la Vie.
Rolf-Göran Bengtsson is also travelling to Hörup with his two younger association stallions to compete in Youngster classes with Charaktervoll HV by Comme il faut-Contendro I (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), Line 474A, and Keaton HV by Kannan-Contendro I (Rudolf Schmitt, Wöhrden), Line 4847, in Youngster classes.
