Next week is the time: On Tuesday, 13 September, seven Holsteiner Verband stallions will set off for the Europe breeding district. At Gestüt Prinzenberg, where Sophie Hinners and Richard Vogel predominantly train their young horses, Chezarro, Vigado, Charaktervoll, United Way, Update, Zucarello, Nohoval and Daymian will present themselves in hand or under saddle at 16:00. In addition, guests will be shown some interesting young horses sired by Holsteiner Verband stallions. Among them is also the freshly crowned Bundeschampionesse of five-year-old show jumping horses, Kalifa by Million Dollar.
Following the presentation, there will be a cosy conclusion to the evening, providing the opportunity to ask the team of Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH – and of course Sophie and Richard – questions about the stallions and perhaps already discuss potential matings for the 2023 breeding season. "I am very pleased that we can continue the tradition of seeing Holsteiner Verband stallions outside the core breeding area with the new Managing Director Sebastian Rohde," says Matthias Wittke, breeding district chairman of the external members.
