Last weekend, a number of the association’s stallions were once again in action at the CSE in Ehlersdorf. Million’s Way by Million Dollar-Concerto II (Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH, Elmshorn), line 1916, secured his first placings in a 1.40-metre show jumping class. Ridden by Arne van Heel, the eight-year-old finished eleventh in the final of the Youngster Tour.
His half-brother, United Way by Uriko (Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH, Elmshorn), reached the jump-off in the 1.50-metre Grand Prix under Lucas Wenz and ultimately finished in seventh place. Close behind – in ninth place – came Arne van Heel and the nine-year-old Keaton HV by Kannan-Contendro I (Rudolf Schmitt, Wörden), line 4847, in the S*** show jumping.
In the S** show jumping on Saturday afternoon, Corfu de la Vie by Cumao-Lord (Haras de la Vie, Belgium), line 741, shone. Lucas Wenz rode the nine-year-old to second place in this 1.45-metre show jumping class.
Mathies Rüder and Charaktervoll HV by Comme il faut-Contendro I (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), line 474A, also secured a placing in the Youngster Tour qualifier (1.30 metres). At their second competition together, the pair finished in sixth place.
