From Wednesday 10 July up to and including Sunday 14 July, the Springflut Festival in Hörup will provide a fitting showcase for the sport with numerous show jumping competitions. A number of Holsteiner Association stallions will also be competing here.
As early as Wednesday (10 July), Vigado by Vigo d’Arsouilles-Quo Vados I (Witt Pferdezucht GbR, Wellinghusen), line 776, will open the competition in a Class M show jumping class. On Thursday 11 July, Chezarro by Casall-Conteur (Gabriele Kowalski, Stadum), line 1298, and Cahil by Cornet Obolensky-Contender (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), line 776, as well as Del’Arko d’Henvet by Tsunami de Hus-Quartz de Frely (V. Debaque and H. Carouge) will compete in their first classes at M* and M** level respectively.
On Friday 12 July, United Way by Uriko-Concerto II (Holsteiner Verband, Elmshorn), line 1916, is scheduled to compete in an S* show jumping class, whilst Vigado will compete in an M** show jumping class with a jump-off.
On Saturday 13 July, Chezarro and Corfu de la Vie by Cumano-Lord (Haras de la Vie/BEL), line 741, will continue in the Youngster M** class, whilst United Way is scheduled to compete in an S** class with a jump-off. There are also some highly interesting classes lined up for the association’s stallions on Sunday: a two-phase S*-level show jumping class for Del’Arko d’Henvet and a Youngster S* class for Corfu de la Vie.
Rolf-Göran Bengtsson is also travelling to Hörup with his two younger association stallions to compete in Youngster classes with the characterful HV by Comme il faut-Contendro I (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), Line 474A, and Keaton HV by Kannan-Contendro I (Rudolf Schmitt, Wöhrden), Line 4847, in Youngster classes.
