Some of the association’s younger stallions competed in the State Championships held as part of the Holsteiner Horse Days in Elmshorn.
In the four-year-old class, Vigado by Vigo d’Arsouilles-Quo Vados I (Witt Pferdezucht GbR, Wellinghusen), line 776, ridden by Massimo Bonomi, finished fifth in the qualifying test for show jumpers at A* level. The chestnut was awarded a solid ‘good’ (8.0).
Charaktervoll by Comme il faut–Contendro I (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), line 474A, and Massimo Bonomi secured qualification for the State Championships for five-year-olds. With a score of 8.7, the dark bay dominated the first division. In the second division, two further association stallions were placed: Cardentos by Cardento-Quo Vados I (Witt Pferdezucht GbR, Wellinghusen), line 776, and Alexandra Witt took fourth place with a score of 8.3. Cardentos ultimately finished fifth in the State Championship. Cahil by Cornet Obolensky-Contender (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), line 776, and Massimo Bonomi took seventh place with a score of 8.1 in the qualifier and ninth place in the championship, ahead of Charaktervoll in tenth place.
