At the Breitenburg Riding Days, two association-approved stallions both claimed victory: In the Class A** show jumping class, it was Daikon by Dominator Z and Edouard Hennau; in the Class M* show jumping class – which also served as a qualifier for the National Championships – the victory went to Charaktervoll by Comme il faut and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson.
The five-year-old Daikon received a score of 8.4 from the judging panel and thus took the lead in the second section. Charaktervoll first competed in the preliminary class for six-year-olds, where he finished second in the first section with a score of 8.4. In the qualifier, the bronze medallist from the State Championships then topped the podium with a score of 8.8, thereby qualifying for the National Championships. “It’s just such fun to ride this stallion,” said a delighted Bengtsson.
