Crack, the eight-year-old son of Cornet Obolensky, and Richard Vogel secured a placing in a 1.50-metre show jumping competition in San Miguel, Mexico.
The pair finished eleventh in this show jumping competition, thereby continuing their run of success: after Crack had been made available to breeders via fresh semen at the Elmshorn stud farm until June, he returned to Richard Vogel’s training. The pair secured a placing over 1.40 metres right at the start of July, were among the top five on several occasions over 1.45 metres in Opglabbeek, Belgium, in early August, and then went on to win the Warendorf Grand Prix at the National Championships. Now the grey and his rider have caused a sensation in Mexico: last week they won a 1.45-metre class in Coapexpan and have now secured their first 1.50-metre placing.
Crack and Richard Vogel will also be competing again this coming weekend in San Miguel (Mexico).
