As part of the CdS competition in Elmshorn this week, the five- and six-year-old horses had the opportunity to qualify for the National Championships in Warendorf in August.

The association’s stallion, Crack, had already completed the preliminary class – an M*-level show jumping class – without any faults and went on to secure his place at the National Championships on Wednesday with a score of 8.8 (2nd round). Maximilian Gräfe also secured another victory with the four-year-old association stallion Cahil, who was competing in his first show this week in Elmshorn. The pair won the Class A* show jumping class with a score of 8.5. 

Cardentos, ridden by Marten Witt, finished fourth in the Class A* show jumping class with a score of 7.8.

Charaktervoll, ridden by Massimo Bonomi, also made his competition debut. The stallion proved very responsive to the rider and impressed the spectators with his powerful jumping. A minor fault at the first fence prevented him from securing a placing. 

Castle Creek also put in an outstanding performance at the CdS competition in Elmshorn under Maximilian Gräfe. The pair finished second in the Class L show jumping class and won the M-class show jumping for six- and seven-year-old horses by a margin of two seconds.

The association stallion Caracho competed in Elmshorn under Massimo Bonomi. He finished sixth in the Class L show jumping competition, and the pair also remained clear in the Class M show jumping.
