The Holsteiner Verband stallion Crack HV by Cornet Obolensky-Candillo has a new owner.
The grey was bred by Campos Cria de Caballos de Deporte from Spain and began his breeding and sporting career in the ownership of the Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH: Under the saddle of Maximilian Gräfe, he jumped to the title of State Champion of the Six-Year-Olds, became Bundeschampion in the same year with Richard Vogel, and subsequently placed in classes up to 1.55 metres with the German Olympic rider. Among other successes, the two won in Stuttgart and Donaueschingen. Most recently, the ten-year-old was placed in his first 1.60-metre show jumping class with Arne van Heel in Hohen Wieschendorf.
Due to his sporting successes, Crack HV has naturally attracted corresponding desire and will shortly move to the stable of Palestine-representing Egor Shchibrik. The 25-year-old trains in the Netherlands, is an alumnus of the renowned Young Riders Academy, and has already participated successfully in youth European championships on multiple occasions.
„We wish his new rider all the best with Crack HV,“ says Managing Director Felix Flinzer. „He will certainly enjoy this athlete. And there is good news regarding breeding as well: Following his sporting career, we will have the opportunity to deploy him for fresh semen use in Elmshorn once again,“ Flinzer continued. Furthermore, frozen semen from Crack HV remains available via the stallion keeping company.
