Last weekend, two association stallions competed at the Erdbeerhof Glantz in Hohen Wieschendorf, Mecklenburg, and returned to Elmshorn with excellent results.
United Way by Uriko-Concerto II (Holsteiner Verband, Elmshorn), line 1916, competed with Lucas Wenz in the CSI2* Big Tour. Two promising clear-round performances in the qualifiers were followed by a third place in the Grand Prix at 1.45-metre level. Lucas Wenz was only beaten by Sophie Hinners and Richard Vogel in this strong field.
In his first start at 1.60-metre level, Crack HV by Cornet Obolensky-Candillo (Campos Cria de Caballos de Deporte), line 1020, shone under the saddle of Arne van Heel. Although a knock at the final fence prevented them from qualifying for the jump-off, the pair still managed to finish in twelfth place.
