Charaktervoll and Zuccero finish in the money in their opening race in Leipzig
The seven-year-old Charaktervoll by Comme il faut–Contendro I (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), line 474A, is competing with Rolf-Göran Bengtsson in the Youngster Tour (1.35 metres) at the World Cup event in Leipzig and secured sixth place in the opening round with a flawless performance.
His stablemate Zuccero by Zirocco Blue–Caretino (Hanno Köhncke, Badendorf), line 4539, also remained clear in the opening round. The grey horse and his Swedish rider finished 10th in the 1.45-metre class.
