On the first day of the competition in Elmshorn, two young association stallions secured victories in show jumping classes with Lucas Wenz in the saddle.
The latest addition to the Elmshorn stud farm, Chapter by Conthargos-Casall (Laß KG, Leck), line 104A, jumped to victory in a Class A* young show jumper class with a score of 8.7. In the Class A** young jumper class, the chestnut finished fourth with a score of 8.4.
Deichkind by Don-Limbus (Rasmus Lüneburg, Hetlingen), line 8763, also ended the day on a winning note: After finishing fourth at A* level with a score of 8.2, the four-year-old stepped up a gear at A** level and was rewarded with a score of 8.8 and victory.
In the Class L show jumping class, Daikon by Dominator Z-Cassini I (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), line 18A2, added another entry to his list of placings: Ridden by Lucas Wenz, he finished eighth with a score of 8.2. Things also went very well for the pair in the Class M young jumper class: here they took second place with a score of 8.4. Also placing in the Class M show jumping competition were Dubliner by Dinken-Canturo (Philipp Freier, Landau), line 95, and Million’s Way by Million Dollar-Concerto II (Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH, Elmshorn), line 1916. Lucas Wenz rode Million’s Way to third place (8.3) and Dubliner to seventh place (8.1).
On Wednesday 29 May, Daikon and Dubliner will open the day’s competition in an L-level show jumping class. Chezarro by Casall-Conteur (Gabriele Kowalski, Stadum), line 1298, and Corfu de la Vie by Cumano-Lord (Haras de la Vie/BEL), line 741, will then compete in an M* show jumping class. Keaton HV by Kannan-Contendro I (Rudolf Schmitt, Wöhrden), line 4847, and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson will be competing in the M** show jumping class.
Lucas Wenz is travelling to the CSI in Riesenbeck with Cahil by Cornet Obolensky-Contender (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), line 776, and Vigado by Vigo d’Arsouilles-Quo Vados I (Witt Pferdezucht GbR, Wellinghusen), Line 776, for the Youngster Tour, and United Way by Uriko-Concerto II (Holsteiner Verband, Elmshorn), Line 1916, for the Medium Tour.

If you have any questions regarding the availability of semen from the stallions during the show in Riesenbeck (from Thursday), please contact the stud farm in Elmshorn directly. In any case, the stallions will be available again via fresh semen from Monday 3 June.
