Chapter is no longer with us
The association stallion Chapter by Conthargos had to be euthanised following an injury.
In autumn 2024, Chapter was at a stallion presentation away from the Elmshorn stallion yard where he injured himself in his box. Following comprehensive examinations and treatments, the injury proved to be severe and recurring.
Several veterinarians gave a poor prognosis for the stallion – predicting that permanent healing/freedom from pain was unlikely. Chapter was put down after consultation with the veterinarians.
