Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH had launched a pre-Christmas campaign for nursery school children to support the ‘Horses for Our Children’ project over the festive season: nursery schools from all over Germany had the chance to win a wooden horse and an educational kit on the theme of horses.
The kindergartens that received the coveted prizes were selected through a craft competition. Any (potential) horse-loving nursery-aged child could take part – whether it was a Christmas tree decoration or any other festive decoration on the theme of (Holsteiner) horses, entries were submitted and thus entered the prize draw. There were no limits to creativity.
The entries were exhibited at the Holsteiner Winter-Chance event on 11 December at the Fritz-Thiedemann-Halle in Elmshorn, where the winners were announced. The following twelve nursery schools will have their prizes sent to them directly:
