Twenty-five years ago today, a stallion was born who was to make a significant mark both in sport and in breeding. You’ve been able to read quite a bit about this over the past few days as part of our Casall theme week. The team at Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH is wishing him a happy birthday, and he’s clearly enjoying the attention. Rolf-Göran Bengtsson is also keen to congratulate ‘his’ Casall.
“We are very grateful that Casall is still in excellent health today and is in top form,” says Managing Director Sebastian Rohde. “And we are, of course, delighted to have such an exceptional sire in our herd.” And to mark his 25th anniversary, Casall is ‘treating everyone’:
For all breeders with mares that are inseminated for the first time by Casall by 30 June 2024 and for which pregnancy is confirmed by 15 October 2024, the pregnancy fee (in Breeding Fees I and II) will be reduced by 250 euros.
