On 8 April, Claudio, a son of Carthago Calypso II, passed away at the proud age of 30. The imposing grey stallion, bred by Max Hauschild (Seester), was licensed in Neumünster in 1993 and was based at the Elmshorn stud for many years. Under Bo Kristoffersen and Lars Bak Andersen, Claudio enjoyed numerous successes at national and international shows.
His offspring have so far won around 660,000 euros in competition; by far the most successful of them is Cayenne WZ (Felix Hassmann), bred by Adelbert Sporn. Throughout his years in Elmshorn, Claudio was always given special care by our long-serving colleague Sigrun Günther.
