On 10 February, Heike Benzin celebrated her 25th anniversary of service with the Holsteiner Verband in Elmshorn. In 1997, the trained artificial insemination technician – having completed her apprenticeship as a qualified horse groom at Burkhard Wahler's yard – took up her position in the Holsteiner Verband's stallion yard. However, the jubilarian was already very familiar with the association. After completing her training at Klosterhof, Heike Benzin had already worked for Frauke Struve and Herbert Blöcker at the association. Since 10 February 1997, she has been continuously employed in the stallion yard, where she has become an indispensable part of the team. Heike Benzin is regarded as an expert in the laboratory and at the microscope, bringing a wealth of professional competence and years of experience to the fantastic team.
